PIFcamp
identity,
digital illustration, screenprinting — 2021
PIFcamp is a week long residency of artists, makers, heckers in the remote Soča valley in Slovenia, “where activities range from art production to scientific research and technological prototype development and production.”*
I have held a workshop of screenprinting for a few years on Open Saturday, where participants presented their projects and could also (along with visitors) print a memorable shirt with camp’s identity. In 2021 I was also asked to make the identity, which I composed of elements that reminded me of visits there. To try a different approach at the printing workshop, each participant was able to make a unique shirt with separate elements of the identity.
Trailer animation was done by Jure Lavrin.
